Rhythm Fire (Cultural) Dance Company (RFDC) is a full-service entertainment and dance production company dedicated to preserving cultural dance and health awareness. RFDC offer classes, performances, workshops, music, live productions, media, and films that infuse creativity and greatness in the human spirit. The company is dedicated to offering a multicultural repertoire of dance classes and performances. Every class taught focuses on developing confidence and self-esteem within the students, giving dancers an acquired love and passion for movement. This, in turn, inspires the company to deliver more opportunities to learn new dance styles to teach and perform. RFCDC strives to create thought provoking and powerful entertaining dance works that captivate audiences both young and old.
Since the birth of the company in 2002, RFCDC has grown to include numerous styles of dance and exercise regimens. Classes consist of Middle Eastern & American Tribal Belly Dance, Fire Dance,
Hoop Dance, Polynesian Hula & Tahittian, African, all Latin styles and Innovative Fusion Dance. Also taught are courses in Classical Ballet, Hip Hop, Modern Dance, Tap, Cardio Work Outs, Yoga, and Gymnastics. RFCDC is in the process of becoming a non-profit organization to enable it to bring world class entertainment and education to children and adults. RFCDC has launched classes for children and adults of all ages at the June Bug Dance Studio, Winter Sun Theater, Floyd Fitness Center, and The Center for Living Light.
Ilima Ursomarso has been featured as a special quest dancer and choreographer for numerous shows and workshops around the United States. She is the founder, artistic director, choreographer and teacher of Rhythm Fire Cultural Dance Company, holds a
degree in Theater Arts and Dance as well as a certification in Personal Training.
She is currently working on a yoga teacher certification. Her
traveling company is based out of Kauai, H.I. Southern Utah, Las
Vegas, and San Diego, C.A. Ilima is a well known teacher,
choreographer and performing artist. She has performed live stage shows in Las Vegas, Kauai, San Diego, Virginia,
North Carolina, and all across Southern Utah. Ilima brings a
wealth of first hand experience in the dance industry and is now
devoted to creating professional engagements and teaching. She
is widely recognized for her unique, funky and edgy style of
dance. Combined with over fifteen years of professional dance experience
she is prepared her to walk the walk, talk the talk, and dance through out her life and on to the next, one stage at a time.
